Hello everyone and welcome to this month’s blog on the Microsoft patch releases. This is a very light month; Microsoft is releasing only two bulletins that cover a total of three vulnerabilities affecting multiple flavors of Windows.
The most severe of the three issues involves the handling of TCP/IP multicast packets. An attacker may be able to exploit this issue to remotely compromise a vulnerable computer. The remaining issues include a denial-of-service vulnerability involving ICMP and a local privile

Hello and welcome to this month’s blog on the Microsoft patch releases. This is a fairly heavy month as Microsoft is releasing 11 bulletins that cover a total of 17 vulnerabilities.

We have seen all of these types of issues before, so nothing new or overly exciting here. But the sheer number of critical issues being addressed

Hello and welcome to this month’s blog on the Microsoft patch releases. This month, Microsoft will release four bulletins that cover a total of 12 vulnerabilities.
Of those, 11 are rated ‘critical’ and one is rated ‘important’. Two of the critical issues affect Office Web Components and have the potential to be the worst of the bunch. Hello and welcome to this month’s blog on the Microsoft patch releases. This time the vendor is releasing eight bulletins that cover a total of 10 vulnerabilities.
Of those, six are rated “critical”, three are “important” and one is "moderate".
