|
|
Description: HaCkeR_EgY has reported a vulnerability in Automated Link Exchange Portal, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct SQL injection attacks.
Input passed to the "cat_id" parameter in linking.page.php is not properly sanitised before being used in SQL queries. This can be exploited to manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code.
NOTE: Reportedly, link.php (where available) is also affected by the same vulnerability.
Solution: Edit the source code to ensure that input is properly sanitised.
Provided and/or discovered by: HaCkeR_EgY
Changelog: 2008-05-19: Added CVE reference.
