Description: Doz has reported a vulnerability in Xerox DocuShare, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct cross-site scripting attacks.
Input passed via the URL (e.g. to dsdn/dsweb/SearchResults/ or dsdn/dsweb/Services/) is not properly sanitised before being returned to a user. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in context of an affected site.
The vulnerability is reported in version 6.0. Other versions may also be affected.
Solution: Follow the vendor instructions in order to disable the display of malicious text. Please see vendor advisory for more details.
