A Cabinet minister's computer containing sensitive files and classified
Government documents has been stolen from a Labour party office.
The computer was taken after it was left in the constituency office of
Hazel Blears in Salford.
Some of the files contained information about Government plans to tackle
extremism.
Ms Blears, the Communities Secretary, may have broken strict Government
rules about what information can be carried on computers used by
ministers.
The embarrassing disclosure comes just days after sensitive documents
were left on two separate commuter trains in London.
